These two shoots belong together. One is the waiting, the other is the arrival, and when the same person photographs both they read as one story instead of two unrelated galleries.
Maternity works best between 28 and 34 weeks. Before that the bump does not read in a photograph; after it, standing under lights for an hour stops being enjoyable.
Newborn works best in the first two weeks, while the baby still sleeps deeply and curls the way it did before being born. Both windows are short, both are fixed, and neither can be recreated later - which is why we ask you to book earlier than feels necessary.
