About Hospital Permission - Read This First

We cannot get you access to a hospital room. No photographer can. Policies differ between wards, and they change depending on who is on duty that day.

Ask the hospital directly, get the answer confirmed before your date, and tell us what they said. If the answer is no, we shift to a home session and nothing is lost - most families prefer the home photographs anyway, because everyone is calmer.

Before the Session - A Short List

• ✔ Keep the room warm - warmer than feels comfortable for you
• ✔ Plain bedsheets and wraps photograph better than patterned ones

What We Will Not Do

We do not do the poses where a newborn is balanced on a surface or suspended in a hammock. Those images are made as composites by specialists using multiple frames and a parent's hands edited out. Studios that attempt them for real are taking a risk with your baby. If you want that look, we will tell you honestly that it is not what we do.
